XL Audit Commander is a data analysis / data mining support tool for performing analytical procedures within the Excel platform. This is done with command language statements or menus, along with a toolbar.
The primary purpose of the tool is to support forensic accounting and fraud investigations, although it may find other uses in research and as a general purpose accounting support tool.
XL Audit Commander is a powerful tool yet unobtrusive, and works within the Excel environment. It takes analytical processing commands, using a simple command bar, and processes them using an Excel add-in and a "helper" application which is installed at the time of setup.
The results are then stored on a worksheet (user specified) for further review/analysis. Data contained within an Excel workbook can readily be used for a variety of audit tests or other analytical procedures.
Installation of the toolbar is a simple process, using standard software installation procedures. Invocation of the toolbar is done with the keyboard command "Control-E". The toolbar is intentionally kept very small in order not to interfere with the viewing/processing data on the Excel worksheet.

You can use XL Audit Commander for testing Benford's law, cumulative monetary amount sampling for audits, interval sampling, cross tabulations, account ageing, audit summarization, day of week analysis.
XL Audit Commander also enables you to obtain Chi Square, audit credit card numbers (Luhn-10), round numbers, top/bottom 5.
XL Audit Commander is capable of producing charts in the form of histograms, trend lines, Pareto charts and more.
